New menu for your fall palate

It is widely believed that once November 1st arrives, we are given permission to begin celebrating the holidays. We completely agree! That’s why our very own Chef Aaron and his team have composed a menu that is perfectly crafted to please your fall palate. The time is here to immerse yourself in the spirit of Fall with our new seasonal lunch and dinner menu right here at Salt & Whiskey.

The Salt & Whiskey Dusty Rabbit: “Un-Beetable”

As part of San Diego’s Gaslamp Quarter 150-year celebration and “friendly” competition, Salt & Whiskey has created a special Dusty Rabbit cocktail. Paying homage to the neighborhood’s “Rabbitville” nickname, the Dusty Rabbit competition pits local establishments against each other to find out which bar/restaurant can create the most delicious craft cocktail. The Salt & Whiskey San Diego entry is a creative combination of whiskey, roasted beet juice and roasted carrot juice. A Celebration Fit for Mad Men: Salt & Whiskey Grand Opening

After months of preparation, Salt & Whiskey San Diego officially opened their doors on Wednesday, August 2. The celebration was a nod to their history within the San Diego Gaslamp Quarter. Guests were treated to a delicious sampling of the new restaurant menu including pork belly with a whiskey bourbon glaze, brussels sprouts with red grape reduction, beet salad 3 ways, and strawberry cucumber gazpacho. Salt & Whiskey San Diego: A Classic Re-Imagined
