KeySlayer, is a contemporary keyboard virtuoso reminiscent of the legendary Liberace with respect to his mastery of performance style, sans the furs and the Rolls Royce. KeySlayer delights his audiences by way of his unique piano arrangements of classic rock, pop, jazz, show tunes, light classical and more. His classically trained skill and range of repertoire with his sense of humor and an on-fire personality do not disappoint. Whether performing solo with his array of digital tracks and backup keyboards or acoustically on a standard grand the KeySlayer puts on a show each and every time he takes the stage. Standing, sitting, spinning and all the while in touch with his keyboard – It’s no wonder he’s been called ‘The Rock’n’Roll Liberace’ by non-other than Jamie James, Liberace’s former publicist. From Flight of the Bumble Bee, The 5th of Beethoven, El Cumbanchero, Rhapsody in Blue, Unleashed (Fur Else), Memories, Music of the Night, Send in the Clowns to pop rock’n’roll – KeySlayer has earned his reputation by using his musical know how and his intense love of those 88 keys – He is a winner of the Liberace Crystal Piano Trophy, Catch a Rising Star and Catch a Rising Super Star Awards. He has performed in concert on Liberace’s unmistakable 9’ Mirrored Grand Piano for the glittering reopening of the Liberace Museum as the Liberace tribute artist along with Charo and Siegfried & Roy. No stranger to the road nor the sights and sounds of Las Vegas, KeySlayer has performed at Caesar’s Palace, Bellagio, Mirage and Mandalay Bay casinos even finding an opportunity to perform on Elton John’s signature Red Piano. Comfortable in a myriad of performance settings, KeySlayer is frequently called upon by The San Diego Symphony Summer Pops Orchestra as a guest performer and has opened for Burt Bacharach, Melissa Manchester and Marvin Hamlisch to name but a few. What’s next for him? It’s up to YOU …
